This year's Animation Sub-Division is made up of four students who are working towards taking the team in a different direction than previous years. We will continue working towards finishing our goal of creating an animation we can be proud of. This year's Animation Team plans to submit for an alternative animation award, which is sponsored by Team 116, aptly name "The Underground Society of Animators (USA) Award for Excellence in Animation." The challenge this year is to create an animation taking a fairy tale or fable that you grew up with and adding a twist to it. The team will be using Autodesk Maya 2013 for animating. In addition to the award, the Animation Team will also be branching out to help different areas on our robotics team, such as the Website and Non-Tech Sub-Divisions. We look forward to pushing ourselves and creating work that not only we can be proud of, but will be beneficially to others.
