Media:

The Media Sub-Division is responsible for recording all of the team's activities on film and through pictures. We take photos for the engineering notebook, the scrapbook, and team's Flickr page. Our primary job is to create a video to submit for the Chairman's Award. Throughout the season, we create a series of mini-videos that explain specific team activities. We work closely with the whole Non-Tech Division to script our videos, and try to embody what it means to be a true Pi-oneer. We put together several possible Chairman's Award videos, each with a different, creative theme or plot. When we film, we choose everything from costumes to set to video angle. We then choose the one that will stand out the most to the judges and best captures the Pi-oneer spirit. We work with Final Cut Express software for video editing, and Adobe Photoshop for photo editing.

Tips for Rookies: No experience is required, just come prepared to have the "hardest fun you'll ever have" and be ready to learn. An ideal sub-team member is good with computers, has a creative flair, and is not afraid to think outside of the box.
